To make the papers and books of Annabel Morris Buchanan, author, composer and folklore collector, available to researchers in the fields of music, folklore, history, anthropology, etc., extensive bibliographic tools must be developed. The collection includes 500 rare religious tunebooks from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Three research assistant will work fifteen hours per week describing, annotating and indexing the musical compositions, manuscripts and photographs.
