To save historically important architectural documents from destruction by restoring valuable items and to facilitate the use of these materials by microfilming and cataloguing entire collection of 6,500 items. Storage conditions and research availability of the collection will be upgraded, and dissemination of information about it will be expanded through the distribution of the catalog and by the exhibition of selected documents on Yale architectural history at the Yale Art Gallery. Both efforts will be of major importance to art and architectural historians and architects and planners at both the local and national levels.
