To locate, preserve, collect and process unknown or neglected primary source material relating to the religious, social, and intellectual history of the "Burned-Over District" of Central New York. Project also provides a practical educational experience for undergraduate students and a plan of dissemination which will extend the work of the Center beyond the academic community.
