FAIN: RC-*1348-77

Pilsudski Institute of America (New York, NY 10016-8806)
Tadeusz Swietochowski (Project Director: May 1977 to October 1990)

To make accessible collections of records relating to the history of Poland, the Polish-American community and certain aspects of the history of the Soviet Union and other Eastern European countries. The collections also contain material on significant topics such as national minorities and mass migration movements. The material will be processed and secured from rapidly progressing physical deterioration through microfilming, proper storage and paper preservation techniques. A comprehensive guide to the Pilsudski Institute’s archival holdings will be developed.
