To support work on a parallel-text edition of Robert Mannyng of Brunne's moral treatise and story collection in verse, Handlying of Synne, a major early 14th c. English work. This grant will permit typing of 1/4 of the edition including the Prologue and the Ten Commandments. This section is contained in all 6 extant major Mid. English manuscripts of the poem.
