To edit the diary of Amar Singh, a Rajput nobleman and military officer whose provenance and career lie in British and princely India. The diary is in English and spans 44 years (1898-1942). P.I.s will select about 5 percent of the diary from 1919 to 1931 and provide it with interpretive materials.
