An Edition of the Sketch Club Minutes (1829-1869)

To prepare an annotated edition of the unpublished minutes of the Sketch Club, which in mid-18th century New York City, included many well-known artists and art patrons. The result will be a 300-400 page Book providing new source material on American patronage, writer-artist relationships, and the lives and works of many prominent figures in U.S. intellectual and cultural history.
