To support continued operation of the Center for Scholarly Editions. CSE functions to provide assistance and guidance to textual scholars and to meet the needs of scholars and teachers for reliable texts. CSE aids scholars by facilitating the exchange of information, sponsoring conferences, circulating editorial guides and providing counseling services. CSC aids the community by surveying textual needs of scholars and teachers and seeking ways to meet them.
