The project will provide a Greek/English edition, with critical introduction, of the shorter poems of Angeles Sikelianos, a writer who helped to develop the demotic tradition in twentieth century Greek literature and stood as the major figure in Greek letters between 1933 and the end of World War II. The work has been accepted for publication by Princeton University Press.
