To map the much-studied archaeological remains of the Theban necropolis. Fewer than 10% of its monuments have been mapped, despite the centuries of interest in the site. The map will be published in both library and field editions. This research tool will aid Egyptologists, and also be a crucial tool for protection and preservation planning of the rapidly deteriorating monuments at Thebes.
