Macroeconomic Determinants of Inequality Past and Present

To formulate a detailed critique of the macro-economic determinants of long-run inequality, examining qualitative data from the U.S., England and Japan and covering the period from World War II to 1979. Findings will hopefully contribute to the formulation of a contemporary distribution policy relevant to both rich and poor nations.
