To complete a research program on the structure of Chacoan society in northwestern New Mexico. The research site, Salmon Ruin, is an example of the climax of Chaco development reached in the 11th century A.D. Fieldwork is near completion; fund will be used for analytic and synthetic purposes, such as data processing, laboratory analysis and human paleontology.
