The project will create a definitive bibliography, a chronology, and an image catalog for major living photographers, in a pilot phase, the photographers were interviewed and their comments recorded. Edited versions of 14 interview transcripts will be prepared for publication in Image (the quarterly of the International Museum of Photography) and for eventual publication in book form.
