History of Architecture in Utah

To complete research on the architecture of Utah and to produce a scholarly manuscript with illustrative materials. Topics to be considered include the Mormon pioneer planned communities, the importation of late 19th century architectural styles and new materials, via the railroad and other outside influences. Study will require archival research, oral interviewing and field documentation of certain building.
