Bibliography of dance materials in the Library of Congress collection. ABSTRACT: Dance materials in the Library of Congress collection have never been evaluated and described in a bibliography. As a result, the dance world is largely unaware of the wealth of material there. Evaluative guide of dance and dance-related materials to be prepared by a team including dance experts and bibliographers, assisted by advice and guidance of an advisory dance panel and Library of Congress experts. Library has expressed great interest in the project and has indicated a willingess to cooperate. Published guide will make available a primary and heretofore unavailable reference tool in the field of the dance. Funds for salaries (P.I. and other personnel), travel, duplication and supplies.
