Emergence of Idea of Revolution and Its Impact in the Later Middle Ages

To determine the origins and impact in the later Middle Ages (primarily in Germany) of the beliefs that the near future would see the establishment of a radically new social dispensation and that men could help God bring about this dispensation with the sword. Research will concentrate on unpublished sources and iconographic evidence.
