To revitalize the Provincetown Playhouse after its recent destruction by a fire. Historic photographs will be replaced and restored, projection equipment will be replaced, and the dissemination materials, including an illustrated booklet and a slide tape will be produced. The connecting link between the Playhouse and the career of Eugene O'Neill in the literary heritage that began in Provincetown will be explored in three seminars, a historical pamphlet and production materials for Harold Clurman's book, "Eugene O'Neill's Journey into Clarity."
