U.S.-Mexico Border Labor History

To support a regional history research project intended to collect documentary data and conduct oral history interviews regarding 20th c. labor-management relations along the US-Mexico border. Study will contrast cultural values of Chicano and Mexican workers, both legal and illegal, with those of Anglo management as reflected in their respective attitudes, policies and performance. Information gathered will be disseminated through scholarly publications, a-v presentations, TV/ radio programs, an academic conference and Border Studies courses.
