This first comprehensive directory of archival and other manuscript resources in the 15 republics of the USSR, together with an annotated bibliography and correlated microfiche editions of published guides, catalogues, and other research aids will be of particular utility to research libraries and archives and to studies and scholars visiting the USSR under cultural exchange programs.
