To prepare for publication a bibliography of all known French publications before 1816 related to the U.S. and the original colonies. Included will be all works printed in France or in French or written by Frenchmen, including French publication of American authors, French versions of works originally published in other languages, and translations into other languages of French works. The listing will be arranged chronologically to show the growth of American influence in Europe.
