To establish and maintain an inventory of published and unpublished correspondence, of unpublished manuscripts, and of recorded interview of 20th century scientists. The first stage will result in a printed catalogue, will center on physicists. The techniques developed will be directly applicable to similar project in the life sciences and the social sciences.
