To survey books and periodicals concerning the Old Testament and related fields and to provide summaries of their contents. Areas surveyed will include not only those directly related to Old Testament literature but also archaeology, epigraphy, philology, history, geography and others. Materials written in the West European languages will be covered, as well as those written in modern Hebrew, Scandinavian and Slavic languages, Polish, Japanese, and others.
