To continue compilation, processing and interpretation of the lexical material for the complete Encyclopedic "Great Dictionary of the Yiddish Language" with particular emphasis on its historical development and training of researchers for the field. The project will document over 200,000 words combining the most exhaustive listing of entries with linguistic and semantic history and precise definitions of all its possible meanings thereby exemplifying culture, social and political developments and characteristics of the Jewish way of life
