To index mythological representations on Greek, Etruscan and Roman objects in the U.S. as part of an international Lexicon being undertaken by forty countries. Such a research tool will be of inestimable value not only to archaeologists, but also to students of art, literature and philosophy, and, to a lesser degree, psychology and anthropology. The first volume is expected to be published in 1980.
