To produce a critical edition of the unedited and badly edited portions of the registers of Phillip Augustus, King of France, 1180-1223 and to collect and prepare the data found in the feudal inventories contained in these registers so that the feudal society of the royal domain can he studied by quantitative and computer techniques.
