The overall project will register, annotate, and cross-reference all research literature on traditional Chinese fiction published in Chinese, Japanese, English, French, German, and Russian. The main task of this grant period is to transfer all data collected in the first phase into card form, and to visit eight selected American libraries in the summer of 1978 in order to verify the completeness of the research tool.
