To produce a Cumulative Shakespeare Bibliography 1958-1978 as the successor to earlier bibliographies by Smith, Ebisch and Schucking. Using contemporary electronic data-processing techniques, the project will establish, maintain and continually update a complete file of published Shakespeareana. An annual "Annotated World Shakespeare Bibliography," for 1976 and each subsequent year, will be published in Shakespeare Quarterly.
