General operating support for state or territorial humanities council

To support public programs in the humanities through regrants to institutions and organizations in West Virginia. The committee will add the subtheme "West Virginia Looking Ahead" to its present theme "People and Maintains" in order to attract proposals dealing with the future of the state. A major priority will be expanding the audience reached by quality humanities programming.
