The Florida Endowment for the Humanities has chosen as its current theme; "The Paradox of Freedom; Private Rights and Public Interests", and program plans include active efforts to generate regrant applications from Bicentennial organizations and citizens groups, development of the newly-formed Publicity Subcommittee, the formulation and implementation of more effective evaluation procedures, and a continuation of the Endowment's recruitment of leading humanists for participation in projects
