With the General Operating Support Grant, Florida Humanities brings the humanities to life through subawards and/or public programming in Florida. In doing so, it delivers on its mission to preserve, promote and share the history, literature, culture and personal stories that offer Floridians a better understanding of themselves, their communities and their state.
