National Trust for Historic Preservation in the United States (Washington, DC 20005-2011)
Robert Nieweg (Project Director: May 2021 to May 2024)

A grant program resulting in approximately 80 subawards to provide relief to humanities organizations recovering from the coronavirus pandemic by supporting place-based preservation activities that focus on the histories of underrepresented groups.

Telling the Full History: Sustaining the Stewards of America's Diverse Historic Places will support a diverse set of humanities organizations that steward an inclusive array of historic places by researching, documenting, interpreting, and preserving them to tell the stories of groups currently underrepresented in what our nation collectively preserves and interprets, including women, immigrants, African Americans, Native Americans, Asian Americans, Latinx Americans, and LGBTQ+ Americans.
