Abstract: This segment of an NECN news broadcast featured Travis McCready, president and CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center. During the segment Mr. McCready promotes Dean College and the NEH project course "Beyond Henrietta Lacks" as an example of innovative teaching and learning. Later in April 2019, Mr. McCready participated in a lab with students in "Beyond Henrietta Lacks" during the implementation phase of the project.
