Records of Early English Drama

Publication of county records of early English drama, including the two-volume Wales collection and the two-volume merged Cheshire and updated Chester collection.

This application requests NEH funding to support the REED editorial office at the University of Toronto, in order to bring the research of U.S. editors to reputable, accurate publication. Records of Early English Drama is an established international collaboration to identify, transcribe, edit, and publish records of pre-1642 entertainment in the British Isles.
