It will also make grants related to this initiative.
The IHC proposes several programs to explore WTP themes: 1. 50 Speaker’s Bureau presentations examining WTP topics; 2. interdisciplinary summer teacher institutes; 3. council-conducted programs – a reading/discussion program exploring American identity; programs complementing Smithsonian traveling exhibits; programs in an initiative examining American Roots Music along with Idaho’s own folk music traditions; special presentations; and 4. regrant projects related to WTP themes. |
