To support grant projects that explore significant historical themes and events; history topics of the Council's speakers bureau; the participation of historians in the annual book festival; Utah's National History Day; a collaboration with the Utah Division of State History for a community history initiative; weekly public radio broadcasts; a statewide museum interpretation initiative for interpretive exhibits; and Picturing America activities in collaboration with the Utah Museum of Fine Arts.

UHC proposes a diverse array of We the People activities, including:1) RFP for regrant projects exploring significant historical themes/events, 2) history topics for UHC’s Public Square speakers bureau, 3) Utah Humanities Book Festival historians, 4) Utah History Fair, 5) collaborative Community History Initiative with the Utah Division of State History, 6) Beehive Archive weekly public radio broadcast, 7) statewide Museum Interpretation Initiative for interpretive exhibits, 8) Picturing America
