French and Spanish courses offerings will be revitalized through the introduction of Afro-Hispanic and Afro-French literatures and cultures of the Caribbean and Africa. Hampton Institute, a predominantly black liberal arts college anticipates that this new program will establish a linkage for its students with French-Spanish-Portuguese-speaking black peoples of the world.
