A three-week institute for twenty-five school teachers on American political and constitutional thought.

The Center for Civic Education proposes to conduct an institute on Political and Constitutional Theory for Citizens for 25 US participants in the summer of 2008. The Institute will be led by a distinguised scholar from James Madison's Montpelier and will take place on the campus of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. The participants will be drawn from the ranks of public and private school teachers from US elementary and secondary schools. In addition, five participants from other countries will join the Institute with funding from other sources.
