The primary objective is the completion of one remaining chapter and an appendix of a monograph that suggests the minor imagery, script layout and full-page images within the Book of Kells reflect a cohesive theme: the role of the gospel book as an instrument of salvation. Four Courts Press (Dublin) is considering the monograph for publication.
