The Digital Index of Middle English Verse (http://www.dimev.net) includes all the records of Middle English verse collected in the 1943 Index of Middle English Verse and its 1965 Supplement, while adding the first two and last two lines for each witness to every record. The architecture of the web site is now complete, and the database contains all of the information contained in the original IMEV and its Supplement, as well as the data collected by Mooney, Solopova, and Mosser. I am applying for funding to collect data from manuscripts at London archives other than the British Library and to enter data collected by a research assistant working at the British Library. |
