Implementation of a traveling exhibition, an accompanying website, and public programming exploring the varieties and meaning of modern art in Mexico from 1910 to 1950.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art, in partnership with the Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, is organizing a landmark exhibition of modern Mexican art and the social, cultural, and intellectual factors that influenced its development during the course of nearly half a century. With the working title Mexican Modernism, 1910-1950, this ambitious exhibition will open in Fall 2016 in Philadelphia prior to traveling to additional venues in 2017.
