We are seeking support from the NEH for travel and subsistence costs for humanities scholars to participate in an interdisciplinary workshop titled "Media Systems." This will convene the first significant discussion aimed at connecting two communities with strongly complementary research approaches and agendas: The groups within the digital humanities and the science/art communities who are focused on the creation and analysis of media-enabling systems. The majority of workshop support is being provided by a grant from the NSF. NEH will allow us to expand and broaden the participation of humanists in this important discussion. |
