The Historical Society of Rockland County's Humanities Collection Assessment Project funding will support preliminary planning for the care of the HSRC's humanities collections. We will hire Paul Himmelstein, Partner, Appelbaum & Himmelstein Conservator, New York City, a museum environmental specialist, who will address HSRC's collections management problems. This will be Stage One of a Three Stage project to identify problems and solutions leading to the reconfiguration of HSRC's collections storage space and management. |
