Tudor Place House and Garden proposes a conservation assessment of 710 textiles on view in the museum and in museum storage. These textiles will be surveyed on an object by object basis to identify treatment priorities and make suggestions for rehousing. A group survey of an additional 500 lower priority items will identify storage and conservation needs. The assessment will be completed by textile conservator Julia Brennan in conjunction with Ann Steuart, Associate Curator at Tudor Place. |
