The NEH Preservation Assistance Grant will support the preparation and implementation of an expanded environmental monitoring program for the Wagner Free Institute of Science, including the purchase of environmental monitoring equipment. The Institute will consult with conservator Catharine Hawks to develop a fully integrated monitoring program for the entire site, including all collection storage areas, problem spots in our National Historic Landmark building, and areas of upcoming renovations as recommended in Ms. Hawks ReCAP report for the Institute prepared in October 2007. |
