During grant period, eds will complete approx half of vol six. Dr. Bland will have prim resp for the Sec of State chapters (Jan'47-Jan'49), and Ms. Stevens those on the Red Cross (Jan'49-Sept'50). Complete identifying, copying, and accessioning documents. Prelim selection of docs to be included. Sel will include about 90% of the docs ultimately published; some previously sel docs will be added, converted to annotation of other docs, or dropped during ed & proof. Maintain list of docs accessioned into the project's files but not selected for pub for use as possible annotation material. Third, the docs in the prelim sel will be keyed by the ed asst. Begin annotation of sel docs. This is the most time-consuming portion of the project.
