creation of over two dozen digital and interactive heritage trails throughout
West Virginia.
This proposal will support our efforts to create over two dozen digital and interactive heritage trails throughout West Virginia. The requested funds will support the work of scholars and graduate students, librarians, preservationists, and museum professionals who will work with the public to create these heritage trails. Each trail will be available at no cost to the public via Clio, an innovative and collaborative platform built by Marshall faculty that connects the public to nearby history and culture. In addition to images and text, these digital heritage trails can embed oral histories and primary sources that make history come alive. |
