A grant program for locally generated humanities projects, history topics in the Road Scholars Speakers Bureau, lectures at the 2005 Great Salt Lake Book Festival, the Utah History Fair, and a statewide oral history program.

The Utah Humanities Council proposes a diverse array of We the People activities using a combination of proven formats and a partnership initiative. 1) a Request for Proposals for projects exploring significant themes and events in American history, 2) several history topics as part of our Road Scholars Speakers Bureau, 3) American historians presenting at the 2005 Great Salt Lake Book Festival, 4) the Utah History Fair, and 5) a statewide oral history initiative in collaboration with the Utah Division of State History.
