SDHC requests funding for the Fourth Annual Festival of Books in Sioux Falls. With the theme "Where Readers and Writers Rendezvous," we expect 6,000 people to attend. Authors in the history track include Joseph M. Marshall III-“The Journey of Crazy Horse;” David Laskin-“The Children’s Blizzard;” John Glusman-“Conduct Under Fire;” Lawrence Goldstone-“Dark Bargain: Slavery, Profits & the Struggle for the Constitution” & others who explore significant events in American history and culture.
