We the People in Virginia
the study of Virginia and American history and culture through grantmaking, radio programming, and such public events as the Virginia Festival of the Book that reach broad public audiences.
The Virginia Foundation for the Humanities will use funds for "We the People in Virginia" for its Grants and Public Programs, Center for the Book, Media, and Research programs. All of these programs conduct work that reaches Virginia audiences and beyond and that engages these audiences in discussions about who we are as Virginians, Americans, and human beings.
