New Strategic Directions
Funding will support documentary media projects and humanities-based civic engagement community discussions.
The California Council for the Humanities respectfully requests $409,810 in support of new programming directions we will be implementing under our new strategic plan. The directions we are pursuing include support for humanities-based media productions and their distribution issue/theme-based civic dialogue and engagement community-engaged scholars and campus/community partnerships, and public education resource and capacity building. These directions are aligned with our three overarching goals of: Field Building, Knowledge & Meaning Building, and Public Engagement.
